We set off early in the morning to celebrate Hantu Blog’s 3rd Anniversary Dive at our very own backyard (Pulau Hantu). It was a blog set up to show divers that Singapore’s water is divable. 3 years since it was set up after a massive discussion in a forum. Debby the founder, has been faithfully running trips with helps of many volunteers to bring divers around in this beautiful place.
Although Visibility is not the best in the world, Hantu has lots to offer. The low in water visibility forced divers to get close and swim at a very slow paced compared to other dive sites in the world. This has brought to discoveries of many species of nudibranches, fish, turtles, cuttlefish, sharks and so many more in Pulau Hantu.
The island has never failed to surprise us with what it has installed.

Other then Diving, we were given a land tour on hantu itself. Well we missed the low tide so we did a little reef walk knees deep in the lagoon

We even walked into the mangrove swamp, a small patch left from whats it originally was

Eeeee Sticky bottom!

We then took a walk on the inside

Woahhh look at the trees!! The place is simply beautiful

A lovely place, too bad it was quite inaccessible to public

Lovely flowers on the island

Looking for the Lapricorn

OMG look we even found a giant bunny!!

After the walk we went back to the jetty to board the boat for another dive

Finally we reach the jetty

Piang…. where’s the stupid boat????

Yippie!!! got on the boat!! lets go diving!

So happy we took another photo! haha
Wait a while more for the up coming underwater photos… still in process
Thank you Debby and Hantu Blog for organizing the trip and the effort to keep this awareness program running!!! Good job!
